Well, you seem to have ‘H’ covered. Where was the last shot taken and how come it only goes up to 120?
That was taken in July down in the Grand Canyon. We were 6 1/2 miles down, about halfway to the river.
Did you take that first one at World Bird Sanctuary? I love it there 🙂 Great photos 🙂
Right-o. Yes, it is wonderful for seeing the birds up close.
I agree, it is wonderful how many places we have locally that provide great photography opportunities.
you amused me with your cautious dog, reading the warning letters: HOLE!
🙂
I’ve experienced 115 degrees but I sure as heck wasn’t hiking! Must have been a very hot hectic hike.
Hydration, hydration. There was no shade. My son got a bad headache and was showing signs of heat exhaustion. I sat him in the shade of a rock, begged aspirin off of a spry elderly couple, and threw water all over him. As the afternoon wore on and the shadows lengthened, we were able to resume our hike back up to the rim.
I can relate – I actually did end up with heat stroke, twice during that trip. Not a pleasant experience.
